Beautiful rare tureen that was made to celebrate a marriage and would have been given as a wedding gift. French Ironstone with beautiful hand painted floral detailing. It would have been given as a gift for the bride to use in her new married life. So precious!
good condition for age, one superficial chip on the side rim of the lid as photographed, no other chips or cracks, some slight rubbing to the paint work but nothing too bad or obvious. A truly beautiful piece.
