Stunningly tactile rare original antique Caldecott Dairy cream churn dating to the 1900s.
Made in London by the Dairy supply company this little tin cream pot would have originally been filled with cream.
It looks like something that would be completely at home in the set of Dowton Abbey's kitchen. Made of metal with a brass handle and hinge. To the top it has a makers mark to the brass hinge, the top is engraved with E T Bates, who we believe to possibly be the milk seller. To the front it has Caldecott St Dairy engraved and then the makers mark of the tin, 'Dairy Supply Company, Museum Street, London.
For such a little pot it really does have a lot of decorative appeal!
This beautiful antique dairy pot with handle would have been used for some sort of cream. A very unusual find!
Fantastic condition, metal is sturdy, hinge and handle intact and sturdy.
