Beautiful and very hard to find terracotta French cake mould dating circa 1900s.

The most tactile piece, you can see the history on it, baked patina on the outside, crazing and worn on the inside, it really is a stunning piece of antique old working pottery.
Made of terracotta with an amazing yellow glaze to the inside.
This lovely mould would have been used for baking breads or cakes in the French countryside. Now makes a lovely decorators piece.
In great condition for its age for a rustic primitive old working item. Some chips and nibbles, some loss to the glaze but nothing too bad, it all adds to a wonderful rustic patina. No cracks or significant chips, this is a sturdy mould. Some firing flaws. Perfectly imperfect and rustic!
