This wonderful set of vintage weighing scales are a lovely addition to a kitchen.
British made by the Wayfare brand these scales would have been used in a household kitchen for weighing out produce and for baking.
Now these scales make a pretty and useful decoration to a kitchen. These scales are so decorative they make a lovely alternative to a fruit bowl filled with fruit, or fill with sweets or pile with baubles for a quirky Christmas decoration. Another lovely idea is placing a plant pot on the scale pan and using it as a rustic plant pot holder!
These scales are still in working order so you could still use them for weighing out!
The base is painted a wonderful pastel creamy off white and the pan is a white enamel. The face of the scale is an off white cream colour.
In good vintage condition, chips to the paint work but the scales still weigh and they have a wonderful rustic patina! Perfect for a farmhouse styled kitchen!
