This lovely Tala Cake tin storage container dates to the 1950s period. Complete and with original paint work this is just a lovely rustic storage idea, it would look so pretty in a kitchen or on a dresser!
This tin is in vintage condition it is used and tarnished but clean inside, there is some chipping and scratches and rusting to the paintwork giving it that wonderful rustic look. The hinge to the back is still sturdy. Given it dates to the 1950s it is still in fair condition.
Stamped Tala made in England.
The lid is hinged and is in a cherry red then the base tin is off white cream with cakes stamped in red. This is the largest size Tala cakes tin.
